After almost 40 years of support for the IWK, it’s very clear to us that Clearwater Seafoods is hooked on helping to ensure children, youth, and families across our region receive the specialized care they need, when they need it most.
With a strong family-oriented culture, many employees and their loved ones have experienced the impact of IWK care firsthand, creating a shared sense of purpose and pride in supporting our mission.
From the very beginning, their team of fin-credible employees have been on board with giving back. And their spirit of compassion shines through in the crew of the Atlantic Preserver, Clearwater’s scallop fishing vessel. Captains Mosher and Jensen, along with their crew, participate in a payroll-giving program and generously donate money from their pay, including during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, to the IWK. Their kindness is a powerful reminder that everyday acts of generosity can have a lasting impact.
