Nathan Toner was inspired to raise funds for the IWK Foundation after he and his wife, Ashlee, had to take their newborn son, Myles, to the IWK’s Emergency Department in December 2021.

When Morgan’s water broke 11 weeks early in August 2023, neither she nor her partner, Brennan, could have predicted what their premature baby boy, Jesse, would have to overcome.

Brier and her husband, Trevor, of Halifax, NS, were 20 weeks into their pregnancy when they learned their unborn baby girl, Perri, had a duplicated dilated right kidney.

When Alycia from Bathurst, New Brunswick, was three years old, her mom, Danika, noticed something wrong with her eye. One looked smaller than the other, and her cheek was swollen. She thought that perhaps their cat had scratched her eye.

The Dude Run is an annual motorcycle ride that began in 2013 in memory of Reggie (The Dude) Dempsey, an avid motorcycle rider who passed away that year.
