Jeremy Ingham, IWK patient

Jeremy Ingham Cancer Research Trust

On November 29, 2017, Jeremy Ingham, a remarkable 22 year old who was passionate about scientific research and finding a cure for cancer, made a personal gift to the IWK Foundation to establish the Jeremy Ingham Cancer Research Trust.

In December 2016, then 10-month-old Violet was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer—infant acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Instead of being at home with family, Violet spent her very first holiday season critically ill at the IWK Health Centre.

When Cole Harbour, NS father-daughter team Brad and Alexis Crossley decided to enter the Trans Am Bike Race, they saw the US cross-country race as a platform they could use to encourage others to live an active lifestyle by raising funds for the IWK Health Centre.

Hank and Clyde, IWK Patients

Hank & Clyde

Born at just 31 weeks gestation, Hank and Clyde spent more than two months growing stronger in the IWK’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Thanks to the highly specialized care they received, these tiny twins have made incredible progress and are now back at home.
