We are heartbroken to share that Jody Ross passed away on February 6, 2025, at 42. We had the honour of knowing Jody and watching her grow into an incredible woman, mother and friend.

In 2009, when Amy was 15 years old, she sought the help of the IWK, thanks to her parents’ loving and encouraging support. She was suffering from an eating disorder, anxiety and depression, which were taking a severe toll on her life.
Many patients and patient families of the IWK Health Centre are grateful for the care they received, but Kandra West-Pettigrew wants to continue expressing her thanks for many years to come.
